Even if she had worked hard for it, and she knew she had the numbers and skills, she was not feeling comfortable thinking about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83c\udfcb\ufe0f\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tb1\/1.5\/16\/1f3cb_200d_2640.png\">Sometimes, to get to a place we were never before, we need a bit of training and preparation. Like in a gym, starting with lighter weights before lifting heavy ones. The coaching space, being a safe and confidential space, was a good gym for her. She unveiled her fears, used role-plays as a tool to practice and develop a sound strategy, and step-by-step went from fear to excitement&#8230; and the desired results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc49\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/taa\/1.5\/16\/1f449.png\">If a negotiation seems dangerous, scary, generates anxiety and procrastination:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; these feelings are human!
