I reached out to Giulia before negotiating my salary with the company I work for. I knew she\u2019s deeply passionate about it, and that she coaches many people in similar situations.<\/p>

I asked for help because I simply didn\u2019t know how to approach the negotiation<\/strong>: I was afraid of asking for too much, and ruin the relationship with the company \u4e00 so I aimed low.<\/p>

I know Giulia from the HHL-University when we were both studying for our MBA. Some years after, I was not surprised to hear that she was starting a new adventurous chapter in her life, becoming a coach.<\/span><\/p>

In April 2020, I was going through a challenging time in my career. Fortunately, I could recognize I was facing a \u201cproblem\u201d that was taking too much of my energy.<\/p>

During a casual conversation,\u00a0a friend of mine accidentally mentioned about coaching and Giulia.\u00a0 Until then, as an academic and\u00a0scientist,\u00a0I did not know what coaching was or never thought I would need\u00a0a coaching session. I was in a transitional moment in my career. I had a job I was not fully satisfied with because of its limited scope and exposure. <\/strong><\/p>

There were moments of highs and moments of lows during the search. I was trying to let all the stars align for what I wanted to do. Giulia was good at each point to understand how to let me stay focus on what mattered. She helped me to take the right step forward in the right direction and to always stay positive.
